Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor is an American producer stage and screen actress who is best well-known for her films in Ray Undercover Brother and on the series on television The Mentalist. She is a graduate of the BA in African-American Studies and an MFA from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue is an actress in theater and film as well as a producer. Her acting career began in the theater. Later, she was a part of various television series, independent films and mainstream movies. She gained fame as Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. On BET's massive series The Book of Negroes she appeared. She did not only be praised by critics for her performance, but she got a handful of awards and nominations. Her debut on stage in the role of Ariel In The Tempest. Her credits on stage include the Broadway performance of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In the film industry she's most popular for performances such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. She is also well-known for her part in ABC's crime show High Incident.
